Copyright Takedown Policy
Intellectual property notice and takedown guidelines
Last update was 21/07/2026.
1. Introduction
Wiktors Hub respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. Wiktors Hub is based in the United Kingdom, has no US entity, and does not maintain a registered DMCA agent. As a courtesy to global rights holders, we voluntarily process copyright notices in a format modeled on the DMCA notice-and-takedown process detailed below. Our statutory legal basis for liability protection as a hosting provider is Section 19 of the UK Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2000. If you are an EU-based user, notices of illegal content may also be evaluated in the spirit of standard notice-and-action mechanisms.
2. Submitting a Takedown Notice
To report content that infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] or via our Discord server with all of the following information:
- Your full name and contact information (email address).
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL or specific location of the infringing content on WiktorHub.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
We will review valid notices and act promptly, typically within a few business days.
3. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] including:
- Your full name and contact information.
- Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
4. Repeat Infringers
It is Wiktors Hub's policy to terminate the accounts or access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
5. Notice-and-Action Framework
In accordance with UK hosting provider standards, any user or rights holder may submit notices of alleged copyright infringement or illegal content using the contact details provided in Section 2. We will acknowledge receipt and act on valid, thoroughly evidenced notices without undue delay.
